At Credit Union of Texas, security is paramount. Because security doesn’t stop with your digital finances, we offer free shred days at our stores! We provide the giant paper-munching shredder and you provide your sensitive documents.
Which sensitive documents?
Anything with personal information, account numbers, your signature, social security number, or medical & legal information. Think old passports, canceled checks, bank statements, tax forms, legal documents, pay stubs, receipts with signatures, and report cards. The list is endless. When in doubt, shred it! Just make sure to only bring paper documents; we can’t shred an old pair of shoes! Limit four tall (13 gallon) kitchen bags, or four banker’s boxes or equivalent.
