We asked some of our recent Experience University grads who their heroes are. Check out their answers below!
“My hero, or heroes, are my pastors. They are my spiritual parents and the love they show everyone at our church, regardless of who you are, is amazing. They’ve given me advice, laughed with me, and loved me (even when I give them headaches), and for that, I am forever thankful. It’s true that not all heroes wear capes!”
“Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is my hero because I am a fitness freak! I love to work out and he does too. I follow him on social media for that extra motivation, tips, and routines. I also grew up watching him on TV, laying the smack-down on everyone and making sure everyone knew what The Rock was cooking.”
“My father is my hero because he was able to overcome any obstacles in his way. He is an immigrant and brought our family here for a better life. He never let the move change his values, his optimistic view on life, and his work ethic. Despite his success, he remains humble and never lets us forget where we came from. Because of that, we value our cultural roots and background.”
